Claire Ratinon in Conversation with Asia Choudhry

Join us in the heart of the community centre's garden, where author and columnist Claire Ratinon will be sitting down with Asia Choudhry to discuss her memoir Unearthed recounting her journey of discovering joy and forming a deep connection to nature.

This session will be followed by a hands-on workshop, where you'll get to plant your own herbs to take home! Open to all ages.

2:00pm Windrush Legacies: Fireside Talk with Colin Grant

Join author and historian Colin Grant for a fireside talk. Colin is praised for his compelling storytelling in his memoir I'm Black So You Don't Have To Be, and Homecoming, which capture the true and often misrepresented accounts of the men and women who ventured from the West Indies to Britain filled with hope, challenges, triumphs and sometimes regret. Join for an open conversation exploring themes of family, identity, race and the legacy of the Windrush generation.
